A Religious Duty · Founding Members Wanted

Write the Will Islam asks of every Muslim
— in under thirty minutes.

Wasiyyah is a guided Islamic will builder grounded in Faraidh. It calculates your family's Quran-prescribed shares, walks you through your 1/3 bequest, appoints guardians for your children, and produces a complete will document — for less than the cost of dinner.

"It is not permissible for any Muslim who has something to bequest to stay for two nights without having his last will and testament written and kept ready with him."
— Sahih al-Bukhari 2738 · Sahih Muslim 1627

The reality

Most Muslims know they should have a will.
Almost none of us actually do.

01

Faraidh is genuinely complex.

Eleven fixed shares. Different rules depending on which heirs survive you. Daughters inheriting half of sons. The 1/3 bequest. Most of us were never taught it properly — so we postpone.

02

Islamic solicitors charge £500–£2,000.

For a document we're religiously obligated to have. Many young Muslim families simply cannot justify the cost — so they delay it indefinitely, leaving their loved ones exposed.

03

The free templates are confusing.

Generic PDFs that ignore Islamic inheritance entirely. Government forms written for non-Muslims. Nothing that walks a Muslim through their religious and legal obligations together.

And so, every night, millions of Muslim adults sleep without the will the Prophet ﷺ instructed us not to delay for even two nights.

How Wasiyyah works

Four steps. Thirty minutes. One complete will.

  1. 1

Tell us about your family and assets

A clear, gentle interview: who you're married to, your children and their ages, your living parents, your property, savings, business shares, gold, and any debts owed to you. About 12 minutes.

  2. 2

    Review your Faraidh-compliant breakdown

Wasiyyah calculates the exact Quran-prescribed share for each heir — based on Surah An-Nisa (4:11–12) — and explains why each person inherits what they do, in plain English.

  3. 3

Add your 1/3 wasiyyah, guardians, and funeral wishes

Choose how to use the 1/3 you may bequest to non-heirs (charity, a friend, a non-Muslim relative). Appoint guardians for minor children. Record your janazah preferences for those you leave behind.

  4. 4

    Download your complete will document

A properly formatted PDF — with signature space, executor section, and place for two Muslim witnesses. Take it to any solicitor for a quick attestation if you wish, at a fraction of normal cost.

What's inside Wasiyyah

A complete Islamic estate document — not a template.

Faraidh Calculator

Automatic share calculation for all surviving heirs, based on Quran 4:11–12. Spouse, children, parents, siblings — every combination handled.

1/3 Bequest Guidance

Islam permits you to bequest up to one-third of your estate to non-heirs. Wasiyyah walks you through using it wisely and Islamically.

Guardian Appointment

For parents of minor children — critically important and often forgotten. Name guardians clearly, with backup options.

Janazah Instructions

Where you wish to be buried, who to contact, your preference for quick burial per the Sunnah. Spare your family from making these decisions alone.

Debt & Asset Register

List all assets, liabilities, online accounts, and digital assets in one place — so nothing is missed and your family doesn't search blindly.

Lifetime Updates

Life changes — a new child, a new property, a divorce, a death. Founding members can update their will at any time, forever.

Built by Muslims, for Muslims

Wasiyyah is not a generic legal SaaS with an Islamic skin. It is built from the ground up around Quranic inheritance law.

Honest about limits

Your document is a complete Islamic will. We recommend a quick solicitor attestation for full legal force in your jurisdiction — we'll guide you on that too.

Questions, answered

What founding members usually ask first.

Is the document legally binding?

The will Wasiyyah generates is a complete Islamic will. To make it fully enforceable in your jurisdiction's civil courts (UK, US, Canada, etc.), we recommend a short attestation with a local solicitor — typically £50–£150 — once your will is drafted. Wasiyyah will provide you with a checklist of what to bring.

Why not just use a normal online will service?

Standard will services use English common-law defaults. If you die without an Islamic will and rely on a generic one, your estate may be distributed against the Quranic obligation — for instance, your spouse may inherit everything when Islam requires specific shares to your parents and children. Wasiyyah is built around Faraidh from the first line.

I'm not in the UK. Will this work for me?

The Islamic content (Faraidh shares, 1/3 bequest, guardian appointment) applies universally to Muslims everywhere. The civil enforceability varies by country. At launch we will cover the UK, USA, Canada, and Australia explicitly. If you're elsewhere — join the waitlist and tell us where you are; we prioritise countries based on demand.

Do I get my money back if I'm not satisfied?

Yes. Founding members get a 30-day full refund — no questions asked. We'd rather give you back £19 than have you keep something you don't believe in.

What happens after I join the waitlist?

You'll receive a confirmation email immediately. As we get closer to launch, you'll receive private build updates — what we're working on, what scholars have reviewed, and early previews. Founding members get first access and the £19 lifetime price locked in.

When does Wasiyyah launch?

We're aiming for launch within 60 days. Founding members shape the product through the build — your feedback in those early weeks is invaluable, which is exactly why founding pricing exists.

Don't let another two nights pass.

Be among the first 200 Muslims to write the will Islam asks of us — and lock in lifetime access for £19.

No spam. No selling your email. Just build updates until we launch — and a £19 invitation when we do.
